A fire originating in an upstairs apartment unit caused extensive damage to this four-unit apartment building, affecting the unit of origin and resulting in smoke damage throughout the remaining three units. The fire impacted interior finishes, building materials, and multiple building systems, while smoke and soot migrated throughout the property, requiring comprehensive restoration efforts. Due to the extent of the damage, the building required demolition, reconstruction, smoke remediation, and restoration to safely return the property to pre-loss condition.
