Privacy Policy
Effective date: October 3, 2026
This Privacy Policy explains how Turquoise Construction ("we," "us," or "our") collects, uses, and shares information when you visit https://www.tqconstruction.net (the "Site"), call us, or contact us about our services. By using the Site, you agree to the practices described here.
Information We Collect
Information you give us
- Contact form submissions. When you submit our contact form, we collect the details you provide, such as your name, email address, phone number, property address or location, and a description of your project or loss.
- Phone calls. When you call us, we collect your phone number and information about the call, such as its date, time, and duration, along with anything you choose to tell us.
- Email and other correspondence. If you email us, we keep the message and your contact details so we can respond.
Information collected automatically
- Usage and device data. Pages viewed, time on the Site, the page or search that referred you, approximate location derived from your IP address, and browser, device, and operating system type.
- Cookies and similar technologies. Small files and identifiers stored in your browser, described under "Cookies and Tracking Technologies" below.
How We Use Information
- To respond to your inquiry and provide estimates, consultations, and services.
- To communicate with you about your project or request.
- To understand how visitors find and use the Site, and to improve it.
- To measure the performance of our advertising and marketing.
- To maintain the security of the Site and prevent misuse.
- To comply with legal obligations.
We do not sell your personal information.
Analytics and Performance Tracking
We use Google Analytics 4 to understand how visitors use the Site — for example, which pages are viewed, how visitors arrived, and whether a visit resulted in a contact form submission. Google Analytics collects this information using cookies and similar identifiers. We use it in aggregate to improve the Site and our marketing; we do not use it to identify individual visitors.
We use Google Tag Manager to load and manage the measurement tags described in this policy. Tag Manager itself does not collect personal information, but it enables other tags that may.
We use Google Search Console to see how the Site performs in Google Search, such as the search terms that lead people to our pages. This data is aggregated by Google and does not identify individual searchers.
Advertising
We advertise through Google Ads. When you reach the Site by clicking one of our ads, Google may set a cookie or use a click identifier so that we can measure whether the ad led to a phone call or a contact form submission. We use this to evaluate and improve our advertising. Google may also use this information as described in its own privacy policy.
Call Tracking Through CallRail
We use CallRail, a call tracking service, to understand which marketing sources lead to phone calls. The phone number displayed on the Site may change depending on how you arrived (for example, from a search result or an ad). When you call one of these numbers, CallRail forwards the call to us and records information about it, including your phone number, the date, time, and duration of the call, whether it was answered, your approximate location based on your phone number, and the marketing source and web page associated with the call. To match a call to a visit, CallRail uses a cookie in your browser. If call recording is enabled, you will be notified at the start of the call.
Lead Collection Through Buildertrend
The contact form on the Site is provided by Buildertrend, the construction management software we use to manage inquiries and projects. Information you submit through the form is sent directly to Buildertrend and stored in our Buildertrend account, where we use it to respond to you and manage your request. Buildertrend processes this information on our behalf and under its own privacy policy.
Cookies and Tracking Technologies
The Site uses cookies and similar technologies set by us and by the service providers named above. They are used to keep the Site working, to measure traffic and advertising performance, and to attribute phone calls and form submissions to the marketing source that led to them.
You can control these technologies in several ways:
- Adjust your browser settings to block or delete cookies. Some parts of the Site may not work as intended if you do.
- Install the Google Analytics Opt-out Browser Add-on.
- Manage ad personalization at Google Ads Settings.
Google Services and Google User Data
To learn how Google collects and processes data through the services above, see How Google uses information from sites or apps that use our services and the Google Privacy Policy.
We also operate an internal marketing reporting tool, available only to authorized Turquoise Construction staff. With the authorization of a Turquoise Construction Google account, this tool has read-only access to our own Google Analytics and Google Search Console data. Regarding that access:
- The tool reads aggregated reporting data for our own website only — such as visit counts, landing pages, traffic sources, search queries, clicks, and impressions.
- The data is used solely to produce internal reports on our website and marketing performance.
- The data is stored in our own secured database and is accessible only to authorized staff.
- We do not sell this data, share it with third parties, or use it for advertising.
- We do not use this data to develop, improve, or train generalized artificial intelligence or machine learning models.
- The tool cannot modify or delete any data in our Google accounts.
Our use of information received from Google APIs adheres to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.
How We Share Information
We share information only as follows:
- Service providers that process it on our behalf, including Google, CallRail, Buildertrend, and our website hosting and email providers.
- Parties involved in your project, such as your insurance carrier, adjuster, or property manager, when needed to provide our services and with your knowledge.
- Legal and safety reasons, when required by law or to protect our rights, our customers, or others.
- Business transfers, if our business is sold or reorganized.
Data Retention and Security
We keep information for as long as needed for the purposes described in this policy, including to serve you, maintain business records, and meet legal requirements. We use reasonable administrative and technical safeguards to protect it. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
Your Choices and Rights
You may ask us what personal information we hold about you, ask us to correct or delete it, or ask us to stop contacting you.
